NEWSLETTER - Contribute, opt out, & dates etc info - REMINDER!

EDIT: Member submitted content needs to be emailed to losties@live.co.uk by the 14th June to be included in this quarters newsletter. This can be anything Lost related - art, poetry, fan-fiction, articles....no theories though as the Hall of Fame winning entry will be included. Many Thanks

I will be putting together quarterly newsletters to include the following; (to suggest something to add please reply to this post)

Suggested Content:

Hot Topics: - A run down of the hottest topics over the previous 3 months including debates, theories, humour, and announcements for the Hall Of Fame winning threads.

Birthdays: - Birthday congratulations for the upcoming 3 months (and including previous in the first newsletter of course)

Event Announcements: - Yes events! Wether this is organised chat sessions or debates, special guest chat sessions (something i'm working on....all will be revealed) or any other events that may transpire.

Member Submitted Content: - This where you come in! You can submit anything to the newsletter wether that be an article (with credits if not your own), fiction, anything you can think of! To submit content for the newsletter please email it to losties@live.co.uk in any format, including your username here.


Expected Issue Dates:

• Summer Edition - Sent out June 21st, member submitted content to be recieved by June 14th.
  
• Autumn/Fall Edition - Sent out September 21st, member submitted content to be recieved by September 14th
  
• Winter Edition - Sent out December 21st, member submitted content to be recieved by December 14th
  
• Spring Edition - Sent out March 21st, member submitted content to be recieved by March 14th
  

Opting out:

The newsletter will be sent to the email address you provided on signing up to the website. If you do not want to recieve this, or you wish to provide an alternative email address, please email or pm me via this forum. I can assure members that at no time will your email be used for anything else, and will not be seen as a C.C. by other recipients.


EDIT: A better way of doing this would be to request to go ON the mailing list other than off. So please pm me if you wish to recieve these newsletters.

Sounds great! Put me on the list! I'll PM you, too, since that is how you requested we do it. I don't have any suggestions right now, but I am sure we will all have something to say after the first issue! You are awesome...and what's this about special guests? You've got my imagination rolling.

p.s. The new Lost-emoticons are SO COOL. Although, they aren't emoting a whole lot...but that's okay!

Yes there is but some people might miss it and I think its easier if people state they DO want it, other then they dont, that way I get a good idea of the interest and dont end up sending email to people who might not want it
