Test 2 Results
Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but uh... I can say with confidence that I had no clue what any of those answers were when I took the second test. It was a good guessing game. I did notice that there was some kind of cheat, but when I pressed the "I" key nothing happened....
Did any of you know any of the answers? And for the last one, what did you guys answer? I answered "C."
After the completion of this one, I am in the Brontes group now... so long Pandora!

Re: Test 2 Results
I answered C.
I am Brontes.
Did you notice that on the final question, if you tapped 'i', one of the answers flickered. (It was C that flicked for me, I don't know if that happens every time. So that's the one I picked.)
I tried pressing 'i' on the other questions but there seemed to be no response, so maybe it was just the last one it helped you with?
I was Ganymede first. Now Brontes. Just for reference in case we start seeing any patterns in how the results may take shape for other people.

I knew a couple of the answers, but forgot how to do the 'cheat' on the 10th question, so chose B as my answer. I was in Pandora, now I'm in Steropes.

Re: Test 2 Results
Well, it seems that the majority of us are now Brontes, but on the DARKUfo site Brontes is the minority.
Also, there doesn't seem to be any pattern because Pandora has switched to both Steropes and Brontes and Ganymede has switched to Brontes too... hm...
Anyway, all three of the new groups are name of cyclops, however, Steropes and Brontes were brothers in "Clyclopes" and Polyphemus is the name of the cyclops in the "Odyssey."

Re: Test 2 Results
I just checked at DarkUFO and they have posted over 100 answers, so we didn't all get the same questions, obviously. As near as I can tell, I got 4 out of the 10 right, but they were hard questions. Some of the other questions were really easy.
I wonder how they chose who got what questions or was THAT random, too?!

Re: Test 2 Results
I think it is totally random, I would imagine...
I know!! Why didn't I get questions like: Where is Stonehenge? or What species of animal has the male impregnated?
You know what... I think this is obvious, but I think the questions all relate to mysteries on the show. There were a few questions about abortions, pregnancy, males carrying babies... then there were a lot about blood and blood disorders (which a few side characters have died of blood disorders i.e. Susan Lloyd, someone else I forget and Alvar Hanso has a blood disorder too...) Just observations.

Nevermind... I did the test without the cheat, and I am in the Polyphemus group. I have no idea if that is good or bad, but after checking you guys that have said which one, you're in, I seem to be the only one in that group so far.

I'm in Brontes now, and I believe I got 5 correct - I didn't know about the cheat, though (and I don't want to cheat, honestly), and answered 'D' for the last question.

SAOY, I was with you about the cheating, but to be honest with you... I think Dharma wants us to cheat because they are putting the cheats in the titles of the Tests. I think they want us to be "smart enough" to figure the cheats out and use them for our own benefit.
That, in my opinion, is the best part of this ARG... we have to decide if cheating is in fact cheating and whether or not to use it because we don't know if they want us to or not....

Re: Test 2 Results
I agree. The 'cheat' is deliberate.
They underlined the letter 'i' this game on the front page, it's the only thing that clued me in. (When I was pressing 'i' on the regular questions I figured I had misinterpreted the cheat - but then it worked on the last question which would have otherwise been a complete guess to get 'right'.)
And as has been previously documented, Test 1 suggested that the 'pressing spacebar' cheat was intentional from the wording of the test name pressurised spa(ce)tial (although I think a lot of people would have struggled to spot that first time around).
So I'd read the blurb carefully in the future, and look for possible clues than can aid your progress!

Re: Test 2 Results
Test done. Five or six of its questions were fairly easy to answer. I cheated on last one. Gone from Pandora to Brontes.
This "ARG" is making me yawn big time...
I agree, but I'm not seeing the point in the game all the same. I mean, "they" may want us to rack our brains to discover the cheat, but... what are forums for? How would they tell the clever guy that guessed what the cheat was from a lazy one with a good google-fu abilities? Huh?

I don't know about anyone else, but I am annoyed with DHARMA Wants You.
And noooooooooo. Its not because I can't do the tests...I had no need to cheat...its because I find it downright boring. There I said it.
Dear ABC / Darlton / JJ Abrams / Bad Robot:
This lead-up to a new ARG is about as enjoyable as root canal.
I want show clues that don't need to be picked apart or riddled out.
Infact, I deserve said clues...NO! Not even clues! Clues aren't good enough at this point. Give me answers! I suffered through Shannon's bitchery, Nikki and Paulo, plot holes, secret web sites, DVD bonus features, Cloverfield (vomit), endless debate....ugggh!!
Give me something substantial to chew on before I go and give you another 17 weeks of my life
~end rant~

Re: Test 2 Results
Am I the only one who semi-liked Cloverfield?
The ending of Cloverfield is the most important part of the whole thing. When the monster is shown shooting into the ocean from space, I think that was a slight nod to LOST in some sort of strange way (don't ask me how). I think Lost has something to do with something falling from space in some form or another (there is a rather large crator in the island). The monster was a little... contrived and I wish it weren't a big weird crazy thing, but the movie wasn't about the monster...
Believe me, I don't give the movie a 5/5 it is more along the lines of a 3/5.
I'm beginning to think that the whole ARG is based on the cheats, however, I haven't used them for either test and I'm in the same grouping as people who have used them now. So I don't have a clue.... Molly, I agree with you for the most part except for Shannon. I liked her!

Re: Test 2 Results
JW, I loved Cloverfield. I don't mind admitting it. Maybe people had different expectations of it. All I saw was a rocking monster movie that did something new with the genre; nothing more, but certainly nothing less.
(By the way, I seem to have read that the thing falling in the ocean at the end was some kind of satellite? And then there was an online viral about the possibility of some deep sea drilling company digging too deep? From that I was getting 'outer space spores mixed with deep sea life equalling uncontrollable monster. And according to the DVD, the Cloverfield monster was just a baby, scared and running amok in this strange new world. . .)

Re: Test 2 Results
Deep sea drilling eh? Satellite eh? That all seems to be "digging a little too deep" for some answers, pun intended. I guess the only way I could see that coming about is the fact that the oil tanker was flipped over in the beginning, but a satellite? Where did that come from? Yeah, I did read/hear/see the baby thing, which makes you feel some sympathy for the monster. It wouldn't be a JJ product if you didn't feel a little som'n som'n for the bad guy.

Yeah, but mine was slightly different - "Because your score was so much higher than John Ventham's score..."
I invited Damon and Carlton, but they said they had better things to do, and anyway they'd heard the "Dharma Wants You" game was a yawn at best.
