Not sure....could it be the basis of the arg?
Seems to me that its a reference to the time difference...in the story, "John" goes back and is able to do things differently, but the effect of this is that the rest of the world is given another day...sort of.

Re: March has 32 days - solved!!!
Well it is a bit alarming. Basically the idea is that it might be possible to relive a really bad day and rectify what you did wrong.
In this case the engineer did not do the final safety checks but instead went to see his wife off at the airport. Because of this the bridge collapsed!
However the next day, the repeat of March 31st, gave him the opportunity to do the right thing, that is checking the bridge, finding the fault and saving it from collapse! His wife had to cope with no one seeing her off.
March ended up having 32 days because the last day was repeated so the engineer could correct the mistake he made on the first time.
What does this mean for Lost, well it looks like someone, probably Jack, will be given the chance to correct the mistakes he has made so far!

I found some of the comments on that page interesting...for example the plane left at 11:15 which is the same time Sun was supposed to be leaving jin at the airport, 42 and 8 are on the flight board in one pic.
Dumb question.....is it a real comic or was it invented by the Lost writers?

Re: March has 32 days - solved!!!
April is the cruelest month....
Whatever decision the man makes (wife or building; personal or social), bad things will follow. Two April's will follow, regardless of the choice. March 32 is a weird or uncanny way of bringing the extension of choice home.
This has to be Jack, the question being which does he accept or choose, the historical guilt or the personal/private disasstisfaction (I can speak from experience, it really sucks to have an unhappy wife).

Re: March has 32 days - solved!!!
Hey, lets not forget that I am one of those highly ignored and not listened to as well...j/k.
That story is interesting, the fact that the engineer lives March 31st twice. It's like groundhogs day, but not as annoying. Did anyone else here beat the Via Domus game? The ending was very interesting and if you don't want to know what happens, stop reading ....NOW.
OK, so the main character of the Via Domus game, Elliot Maslow, ends up getting a boat at the end, so he can leave the island. As he headed out in the water, there was a big flash of light (like from turning the failsafe key or moving the island) and then he wakes up back on the island, the same day as the crash (September 22nd 2004), but some things have changed. The girl that he was responsible for getting murdered, was alive and with him this time. Elliot had learned his faults and somehow got a second chance to re-live some days prior to and on the island.
Of course, TPTB have declared Via Domus to not be canon to the story. I think they say this mostly because we are never going to meet Elliot Maslow on the island and he will never have his backstory filled in ABC, but I think that the events in the game are very important to the story.
I wouldn't be surprised if we saw people re-living some days that we've already seen them live. It will be very interesting to see what happens when the O-6 returns to the island in Season 6.
Then there is the book "Bad Twin." I've read it and I thought it was quite good. There are a lot of things that bring a lot of theories into perspective. The book, however, was about a brother (from the Widmore family) hiring a detective to find his twin. The underlying concept was that there was a "good" twin and a "bad" twin. Now this reminds me of something I've seen before.
Did anyone see that South Park episode where the evil Cartman came through a portal from a parallel universe, but since Cartman is a little bastard the evil Cartman was nice. The same thing happened in Futurama with Bender. This plotline has been used over and over, and I don't think Lost is any different. I think we are dealing with parallel universes.
Maybe when these people move (islands and such), they actually move to the conciousness of another one of themselves in a whole different universe. Ah, who knows, gotta get back to work...Peace.
